Plates, bowls and serveware

Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving a dish from the fridge straight into a hot oven.
Stack plates with care and avoid sliding them against each other, which can mark the glaze.
Pieces with metallic rims or hand-painted decoration should be hand washed and kept out of the microwave.
Check the product details for dishwasher, microwave and oven suitability.

Wood

Hand wash and dry upright. Do not soak or put wood in the dishwasher.
Rub with food-safe mineral oil now and then to stop the wood drying out.

If the product or its packaging gives its own care instructions, follow those first.
